Foot passengers and by train

Foot passengers can catch the Hovercraft via Hovertravel, which takes 10 minutes and operates from Southsea to Ryde. You can also catch fast passenger only ferries from Portsmouth (Wightlink), and Southampton (Red Funnel).

You can also book rail tickets directly to Ryde from any station in the UK (with the ferry included in the ticket price)

Discounted Ferry Tickets
We have a travel partner, that is able to offer our guests discounts on ferry bookings. These are not guaranteed by us (and we don't take commission on the bookings), but discounts typically range from 20% to 35% depending on the time and mode of travel (e.g. car versus foot passenger).
